Sumari:Report from a scoping study examining the congruence between academic curricula and work based needs in speech pathology. One study investigated how evidence based practice (EBP) principles are taught in Australian speech pathology courses and identified strengths and challenges of incorporating EBP into curricula. The other study was case based and investigated how clinical educators incorporate EBP into clinical decision making and explain decisions to students. Recommendations address: occupational standards; national plan of action; and a knowledge transfer strategy.
