Zusammenfassung:Final report from a project that conceptualised authentic assessment within service learning experiences to ensure that information technology (IT) graduate capabilities align with contemporary industry expectations for ethical, socially responsible and reflective professional practice. Service learning provides a means through which students can engage in professional practice that promotes social responsibility through experiences designed to meet actual community needs. The premise of the project was that high quality service learning will improve the employability skills of students enrolled in technology-oriented degrees.
