Shrnutí:Teacher's guide produced from a project that aimed to support university teachers and course teams to make decisions about assessment. When an academic creates an assessment task, marks student work, or designs a unit of study, they encounter a series of decision-points. The difference between ideal and actual assessment practices in these (and other) circumstances may be the result of assessment decision-making. The research team engaged with university teachers to develop case studies of assessment decisions and annotate them with input from other academics, assessment experts and the literature. These case studies will support teachers to make the decisions they want to make, and overcome the barriers they face. An assessment decision-making framework was synthesized from these authentic worked examples.
