| Zusammenfassung: | This good practice guide was developed as part of the OLT project "Renewing first year curricula for social sciences and humanities in the context of discipline threshold standards". The project investigated what we need to do in first year in order to prepare our students to meet the Threshold Learning Outcomes (TLOs) for the discipline by the time they graduate. The TLOs for Geography were developed through the Learning and Teaching Academic Standards (LTAS) project in 2010. The TLOs for History were developed through the Learning and Teaching Academic Standards (LTAS) project in 2010. Professor Iain Hay, as discipline scholar for the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, led the project with a History discipline reference group representing academics, employers and professional bodies. |
