Tóm tắt:This is one of a suite of reports produced by the Teaching Quality Indicators Project, which reviewed national and international theory and practice related to teaching and learning in higher education. The report is structured in three sections. Section 1 provides a brief background on the growing national focus on quality and use of performance indicators of teaching and learning in higher education. Performance indicators are categorised into four types: Input, Output, Process and Outcome. Section 2 focuses on the ways that national and sector level teaching and learning indicators are utilised in performance management models or systems. The performance model in large part determines which indicators are used and how they are interpreted. Section 3 provides an institutional level framework for teaching and learning quality and identifies indicators and measures that have the potential to monitor teaching and learning at the national level.
