| Resumo: | Quantitative research methods are an important component of most tertiary degrees, yet they are also an area of weakness for many students. Students are particularly known to struggle with the ability to select the appropriate statistical tests or procedures for different types of data, research questions and hypotheses. This is the final report from a project that developed StatTree, an innovative cross-platform mobile application that facilitates such statistical decision-making. The application, along with its companion website, guides users through a series of simple, annotated questions to ultimately provide them the guidance necessary to conduct, interpret and report a statistical test or procedure that is appropriate to their circumstances. |
