Özet:With the increasing diversity of Australian university student cohorts and the inclusion of explicit English language standards as part of TEQSA's Teaching and Learning standards, there is a heightened need to address current practices in regard to English language proficiency and academic literacy. PASSwrite presents a strategic and sustainable approach to the development of student critical and communicative capabilities, particularly those of underprepared and non-traditional students. This is the final report from a project that brought together a well established and effective peer-learning model with the best practice model of discipline-based academic literacy to create group learning environments in which students engage in critical reading, writing and dialogue around the concepts, language and conventions of their own academic discipline. The PASSwrite project produced a readily scalable and adaptable framework of academic literacies support that can be applied across the sector.
