要約:This report is concerned with the experience international students in the social sciences have when undertaking work-based practicums. As well as the standard challenges in making the transition from theory to practice, international students can often contend with the added difficulties of: lack of familiarity with local workplace culture; language and cultural problems; and prejudicial attitudes. The project was focused on how to ensure practicum is inclusive and equitable for these students. A needs analysis was completed and a model for inclusive education created. A plan for intervention is also included.
