الوصف
الملخص:Final report from a seed project that tested and evaluated a model for collaborative student-led event-based assessment practices in interdisciplinary teaching environments in the creative arts and humanities. It addressed a significant problem in assessment practices by offering fairer modes of assessment in interdisciplinary contexts that also better prepares students for life beyond the university. Based at an art school, at the threshold of inter-disciplinary pedagogy, this project tested new ways of reinvigorating assessment and establishing productive relationships between undergraduate and postgraduate students, academics, artists, curators, writers and other cultural workers beyond the university. Outcomes of this pilot project include an assessment model, featuring critical analysis of a variety of assessment practices for both written and creative/studio based tasks, a step-by-step illustrative guide, models of peer-assessment and self-assessment, rubrics and a case study analysis that will provide a practical approach to event based assessment in interdisciplinary contexts.
