| 要約: | Final report from a project that used a computer based system to record physiological data from cardiac surgery patients, and used this data to teach aspects of cardiovascular physiology to second year medicine and science students. Twelve operations were recorded and the resulting files edited and annotated. Some video recordings were also made to illustrate the procedures involved. Students were able to "replay" the operation in the computer laboratory, and analyse the data. This material was generally well received by students who felt it was more relevant and useful than animal experiments.
