| Tóm tắt: | This report is the summary of one of several studies that form the Teaching Quality Indicators Project, which has reviewed national and international theory and practice related to teaching and learning in Higher Education. A potential outcome of this review is the provision of a set of valid, reliable and useful indicators for use by the sector. This study contributes to the project by investigating the policies, practices and quality assurance systems linked to teaching and learning at Australian Universities. Universities were given the opportunity to submit additional information until 31 January 2008; consequently, this summary represents 2007 Teaching and Learning Practice. As universities continuously review and update their policies and procedures, this report should be considered a snapshot of practice. This study examined practice in 371 Australian Universities from a quality systems point of view, with a focus on important delineators shown to be relevant to teaching and learning. Topics covered represent a comprehensive snapshot of practice related to recognising and rewarding quality teaching and learning at Australian Higher Education Institutions.
