Sumario:This report presents the findings from an Australian Government Department of Education, Office for Learning and Teaching funded project that aimed to identify the enablers and barriers to participation, retention and success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students within the higher education system. The findings and recommendations have been drawn from a review of the policies and procedures of the partner universities based on the recommendations of the Behrendt Review (Behrendt et al., 2012), semi-structured interviews conducted with current and former students and staff from the partner universities, as well as case studies completed by each partner university. The implications of the research, impact of the project, planned dissemination activities and the findings of the independent evaluation are also presented. [Publisher summary, ed]
