Resumo:Final report from a project that was concerned with the need for curriculum renewal in postgraduate information technology education as a result of the increasing importance of service sector requirements. The project identified the most significant themes that are central to the study of services, and documented and disseminated the critical knowledge and skill sets needed by service professionals in response to the growing dominance of the service sector. Secondly, based on this evidence, the research team developed market-relevant, inter-disciplinary curriculum modules to assist in training a new generation of postgraduate students in information and communications technologies (ICT) and related fields.
