| الملخص: | Several Australian discipline groups have recently published standards statements, contributing to the national regulation and quality assurance framework currently being developed in the Australian higher education sector. The Standards Statement for Science included a statement describing the nature and extent of science, a set of Threshold Learning Outcomes (TLOs) and a section with explanatory notes expanding on the interpretation of the TLO statements. TLO statements represent threshold or minimum levels of achievement that are expected of a bachelor level graduate. This is a good practice guide from the Ag-LTAS project, which aimed to adapt the nationally agreed TLOs for Science to the specialist, Agriculture discipline. The guide expands upon the national Learning and Teaching Academic Standards Statement for Agriculture (AgLTAS). The practical information within the guide will be useful when implementing the Threshold Learning Outcomes (TLOs) in curriculum. Each TLO has been individually addressed via a literature review that summarises key issues, identifies opportunities and lists resources; and case studies that address that TLO. |
