Sumario:Handbook produced as part of a project that developed an online, modularised good practice guide for program leaders, along with resources for policy-makers and those who induct and support program leaders. Program leader networks were consolidated in participating universities, yielding good practice models. The handbook is designed as a resource for those responsible for inducting and supporting program leaders. This may include: those in central academic development units responsible for coordinating professional development programs for academic staff; or Deans/Associate Deans in Faculties and Departments who are looking for ways to build the capacity of program leaders at the local level. Program leaders may also find this handbook useful as a guide to the kinds of professional development modules they may like to draw to the attention of their institution. The handbook comprises four modules that can be adapted as appropriate for particular universities, faculties or departments.
