The videos and booklet are designed to support university subject/unit coordinators or staff developers in the leadership and management of teaching teams. In particular these materials are designed to engage coordinators in reflective practice on their own strengths and areas for development. The scenarios depicted are not designed as necessarily 'best practice' examples of subject coordination: they are examples specifically developed to promote discussion purposes. The booklet emanates from the project 'Subject coordinators: Leading professional development for sessional staff".' which explored a leadership capacity development framework that includes targeted professional development as a means of improving academic leadership and management of sessional teaching teams. |
