| Resumo: | Universities face substantial change in a rapidly evolving global context. This document provides a stimulus for those involved in the redevelopment of assessment practices in higher education. It draws on the expertise of a group of highly experienced assessment researchers, academic development practitioners and senior academic managers to identify current best thinking about the ways assessment will need to address immediate and future demands. It emanates from a project that focused on the issue of how assessment can enhance learning in and after courses. The project identified the need to translate what is known by scholars of assessment into forms that were more widely accessible to all staff in Australian higher education institutions. |
