| Gaia: | In the rapidly changing Higher Education environment, one stakeholder has been largely neglected in the consultations- the students. This project redressed the omission by utilising innovative techniques to explore students' preferred and viable learning and teaching futures. This will guide the development of recommendations for university policies and strategies, as well developing guidelines and frameworks to support our students' use of new technologies, their approaches towards their learning and how to engage them in their learning. Further, an ongoing community of practice in the future of learning in Higher Education will be established to ensure the continuation of the understanding of the need to include our students in discussions of the future of learning in Higher Education in Australia. Dr Simone Buzwell and Professor Glen Bates are co-leaders of this project. |
