Description
Résumé:This seed project will develop guidelines for educators and students to effectively prepare and undertake e-exams, and build a working prototype of an e-exam platform to be used in supervised, bring your own device (BYOD) settings that includes computer marked questions and secure electronic reticulation of student responses. Prior work done by Fluck at University of Tasmania will inform the design of process guidelines and technology development. Pilot e-exams, interviews and focus groups will be used to evaluate and feedback into the prototype design and guidelines. It is anticipated that the new prototype platform and guidelines will have sector wide relevance and applicability because it will be designed to be open, flexible and as technology neutral as possible while taking into consideration process, technology, people and pedagogical factors. Deliverables will be disseminated across the Australian higher education sector. The findings from the seed project will feed into an application for a full innovation and development project.
