Omschrijving
Samenvatting:Final report from a project that addressed emerging learning and teaching practices and the extent to which student preferred learning environments are catered for. The project found that students move in nomadic but purposeful ways across a learning landscape of which the university is only a part. Students are typically already enmeshed in a work/home/study continuum, and the problem for the university is to replicate and indeed advance these open and flexible communities on campus. The authors believe this is best done by providing multiple, welcoming, aesthetic and reconfigurable spaces. They settled on the idea of the 'SKG aesthetic', a framework for the design of future-proofed learning spaces.
