Beskrivelse
Summary:This is the final report from a project where the primary aim was to align the biology curriculums offered in the secondary and tertiary sectors in Australia. This alignment, and better integration between the two independent sectors, has the potential to improve the opportunities for success in higher education among entry level students with diverse backgrounds. The project fostered dialogue between the two sectors, and developed a collaborative network that informs curriculum development to address the immediate needs arising from the national curriculum. An interactive website that promotes constant dialogue and refinement will, in the long term, help maintain consistency of educational standards.
