সংক্ষিপ্ত:Final report of a project at Curtin University, School of Biomedical Sciences. This project successfully moved the distance delivery mode of teaching the first year undergraduate subject Human Biology to a student-centered approach. This subject focuses on anatomy and physiology and has traditionally been a subject with high levels of practical work which has required distance students to have some on-campus contact in order to effectively complete the unit. Distance students are now able to complete the unit off campus, communicating with other students and tutors through email and a WebCT site, and interacting with course content. A CD-rom was produced to mirror the website, providing off-line access to all the session activities, graphics and laboratory simulations.
