Resumo:This is the final report for a project developed in response to the lack of suitable teaching resources in hydrology for use in Australian universities. The project produced a CD-ROM package which provides university lecturers with a distinctly Australian basis for teaching engineering hydrology. The teaching format adopted in the package is to use a multimedia approach to combine text, diagrams, animations and audio with some video to provide the student with as many of the advantages that an internal on-campus student enjoys as possible. The package attempts as far as possible to incorporate the benefits of interactive tutorial sessions and lecture material as done interactively on-campus with a class. The student can either follow a suggested study path to complete the course or adopt an entirely self directed study path through the material.
