Samenvatting:The review findings clearly indicate that there is a strong perception that the Awards scheme has played an important role in raising the profile of teaching within the Australian higher education system. The Awards have also had a positive impact on the quality of teaching. Although there is clear support for the continuation of the Awards, many suggestions were made regarding ways in which the impact of the Awards scheme could be better leveraged, and its effectiveness in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning in universities improved. Participants' perceptions of the benefits and issues relating to the Awards are discussed in detail in this report as well as issues and concerns raised by the participants [p.4, ed]
